What Do I Know of Suffering?
Born in the
United StatesTo middle class parents
What do I know of suffering?
Never hungry?
Never homeless?
What do I know of suffering?
No loss of basic human needs
No real need for more
What do I know of suffering?
Clean water everywhere
Health care available even if uninsured
What do I know of suffering?
Always clothed
Always sheltered
Always friends and family around
Always fed
Always safe
What do I know of suffering?
Lord, there are those who are suffering
Who can I help?
He says “Help the Haitians,
Be my hands, feet, arms and show my heart to them
Know their suffering even for a while and remember it”
When you are warm, dry, fed, not thirsty in your safe home remember there is always someone not as blessed as you and share my love through real tangible things like food, water, shelter, health care, a helping hand in whatever they need.
LORD, I WILL GO AND GIVE
Last summer Teresa and her husband felt God call them to go to Haiti to help in whatever way they could.

If you ever think poor me when you can't buy that pair of jeans you want or have the newest electronic device go to a third world country and see what real suffering is about.
Teresa believes that everyone should look outside their own little world to touch the hurting and forgotten people, particularly the children living in poverty.
Orphans in Haiti are happy to have one meal per day and a roof over their head. They have illness, hunger, and no parents that could easily be prevented with just small sacrifices on our part.
A national Haitian orphan board is being formed to provide training for orphan caregivers in the proper care of children. The caregiver will then be paid by the organization and responsible to the board for whatever relief efforts are provided to them for the children. By training them and making them an employee we will be better able to make sure that all donated items actually stay int he possession of the children.
The cost to support one caregiver per month is $100.00. We are looking for people who are willing to pledge any part of that money per month to provide a safe happy home and preventative health care for these children.
Teresa has been asked to serve on this National Haitian Orphan Board to design and implement an orphan caregiving program. If you want to help be the solution instead of just a observer, please let us know. You can offer donations to the Haiti caregiver fund, your time in raising funds or office tasks that are needed, prayer for the program and Haiti in general, or your skills in whatever area you feel God has called you to in this effort. God is a mighty God who has a plan for each of our lives and if we listen we can participate in his great plan of redemption.
Still have questions? Please contact us, either by phone, e-mail, or through our contact page. We look forward to hearing from you.
