Teresa Marshall, MSN, ARNP, FNP 

Teresa has a varied  background and has  worked as a medical assistant,  firefighter, police officer, and nursing instructor; all of which have been a part of the greater plan to bring her to this place.  She believes our health care system has gotten out of control, and believes by offering the most up-to-date information to her patients, that together they can keep the cost of health care reasonable.

She was born in Spokane where she grew up the daughter of a firefighter and day care director.  She has been married to her high school sweetheart for more than 30 years.  After graduation, she became a medical assistant at a family practice residency and discovered her love for medicine.  Upon moving to  South King County more than 20 years ago, she decided to apply to the Physicians Assistant program at the U of W.  In her attempt to get into this program, she became the first and only female fire fighter at a local fire district. She subsequently went onto to become a police officer.  She served our local community for 7 years and once again decided to pursue her medical career.  She took her undergraduate nursing program at Tacoma Community College, where she currently teaches as a nursing instructor.  She obtained her Masters Degree in Nursing and Family Practice Certificate from Gonzaga University.  Teresa feels that practicing as a family nurse practitioner is what she was destined to do all along, and now  has realized her dream by opening this clinic.
